FS: Razer Lachesis, Creative Zen Vision:M 30Gb, Sony Digital Cam, TT Big Typhoon, Fan

Hi everyone! I've got quite a few things to sell. Most of them being quite recent like 1-2 years since I like to be always up-to-date with technology. Because it's good stuff in "brand-new" shape, just don't expect me to sell everything at a ridiculously low price. You can also check out my Heatware to see that I'm a guy on which you can really trust and have a perfect service. Ok, enough talking for now, happy shopping! :thumb:

Razer Lachesis "Blue":
I bought it the day it came out since I had it pre-ordered directly from the Razer store, it did cost me a good 80$. I never had any tracking issue with it unlike some rare users even with the firmware v1.0 but I can say it is even much better with the latest one being v1.75. The tefflon under the mouse is still 100% intact since I never used the mouse elsewhere than on my Razer Goliathus "Mantis before" cloth pad. On its surface it's also very good, there's no scratches or weird spot.. so really this mouse is still in perfect shape but now you must wonder why the heck do I want to sell it. Right, here's the reason. I also wanted to try the (SteelSeries Ikari Laser) since while ago when I heard good stuff about it. I was so curious... and also had money to spare so I bough it on impulsion for fun even thought it was also 80$ + Tax. At first I had a hard time getting use to it then I liked both pretty much 50/50 but now I think I went 60/40 for the Ikari and since I only have 2 hands well one high-end mouse will be enough for me. Not to forget the fact that I got fired from work so now I'm also stuck home with a Logitech G5 since it was what I was using at work. I'll prolly give the G5 to my sister.. but I just can't keep 3 high-quality mouse, that would be a waste. Look on all the price comparator you could find, you'll see that the average is 80$ and higher + Taxes & Shipping. For a few pictures of the mouse, you can look into my photobucket here.

Price = 75$ Shipped

Sony DSC-W5 + 128MB Memory Stick Pro & Case:
I'm selling this digital camera that I bought in November 2006 for my mother since now that I have a Fuji S8000FD "~400$", I no more need the other one. As you saw in the title, my camera comes with a case to transport it and also have a 128MB memory card that I bought seperatly but that I'm willing to throw in for free. If you wana know the whole specifications of the cam, as well as see a few pictures I took with it, there you go:
Photo #1, Photo #2, Photo #3, Photo #4, Photo #5, Photo #6, Photo #7
Cam #1, Cam #2, Cam #3, Cam #4, Cam #5, Cam #6, Cam #7
Link for specifications

Price = 100$ Shipped

Thermaltake 120mm Blue LED Fan:
I now have 1 of them sice I sold the 2 others. I took out those 120mm fans from my Thermaltake Armor in order to replace them with something a little more silent and I added 2 cold cathode to make up for the loss of the leds. Here's a few pictures of the fans.

- Picture #1
- Picture #2
- Picture #3
- Picture #4

Price = 12$ Shipped

Pentium 4 Setup:
The boyfriend of my sister gave me that old computer of year 2002. It was from the Casino of Montreal. The only downside is that there's no CD-Rom for some reasons and the Win2000 currently installed is so limited that you'll need to plug a drive then format it. It's compatible with WinXP but not Vista.

- Processor = Pentium 4 1700Mhz
- Videocard = Onboard VGA
- Hard drive = IDE 37Gb
- Power Supply = Generic 300Watts
- Memory/Ram = 2 x 128Mb
- Case = Some old crap
- Networkcard = Onboard 10/100
- Soundcard = Onboard AC97
- Floppy Drive

Price = ~100$

Pentium 3 Setup:
Someone in my family asked me to upgrade her computer. It was so old for what she needed to do that I had to change it completly. She gave it to me and that's what I used for a month while my gaming rig wasn't working anymore since I had to RMA the motherboard. I'll be honest, it's totaly useless to any gamer but it's fine enough to use Windows XP while doing just music, internet browsing, chatting, excel/word and stuff like that. So here's the spec.

- Motherboard = Asus CUW-AM (Mini-ATX)
- Processor = Pentium 3 933Mhz
- Videocard = Onboard Intel 32Mb
- Hard drive = Quantum Fireball 40Gb
- Power Supply = Generic 300Watts
- Memory/Ram = 2 x 128Mb SDRAM PC133
- Case = Nikao Spider (Black + 80mm fan. Search on google for pic)
- Floppy Drive (Black)
- Networkcard = D-Link PCI Ethernet 10/100
- Soundcard = Onboard AC97/Realtek

Price = ~80$

Thermaltake Big Typhoon:
One of the best heatsink around for overclocking and silence. It's silent that you will never hear it for sure. Just look on google to see how it looks. It still sells for about 55$ + Taxes & Shipping on Internet so you will save a lot by getting it from me and who cares if it's used... it's a piece of copper lol. It comes with all the "socket adaptors" and screws unless 1 "H" plate out of 2 since I needed one to fit my Sunbeam heatsink.

Price = 25$ Shipped

Bump for the Zen Vision:M. I bought it back when it was first released, and still hasn't broken yet. Truly the product of the golden age of Creative.

Hell yeah it seems to be made of steel. How often did you hear somebody that broke his iPod.. well I dropped quite a few time from a few feets of a hard ground the mp3 player and not once did it do any damage at all. Sure some scratches on the plastic but none on the screen and all is fine. Once I even had it on my knees, the bus did a tight turn and it slided away from my feet then under the back door of the bus right in the middle of a street with a lot of vehicule. You can trust me that I really jumped out of the bus asap to run get my player lol. By luck no car ran over it but still, after sliding out of the bus onto the street, again no damage at all! :shok:

I should be receiving the iPod Classic 80Gb tomorow which I bought refurbished to save money but I would have prefered to stick with Creative if they would had made a v2.0 of that Zen Vision:M, not like the crappy Vision:W or the fake X-Fi player and without touchpad. Now they discontinued their very best product (-_-).

All right, I'll bite... what kind of music should one expect to find on that Zen of yours Panzer? :punk:
Right now I currently have 5116 mp3 tested and approved by me one by one. It ranges from classic to harsh ebm, all kinds of metal, smooth electronic music, industrial, ambiant, piano, accoustic guitar, psy trance, and so on... The only kind that I can say I really hate is reggae, hip hop, rap and country. I also don't like that much pop music. It's 100% sure that anybody would find quite a lot of stuff that he likes in all the mp3 I have. It's 34.4Gb so requires about 8 or 9 dvds to do a backup of everything, and I keep finding new stuff once in every while. Did a mad rush of music this weekend of 3gb thought I'm obviously not gonna like at least half of it. As I often say, quality over quantity. Just the gift of the music alone could be plenty enough to be worth the deal, mostly if he likes metal.

Well if Jacky says it's a good mp3 player, then it's a good mp3 player. His is really the only opinion I trust on such matters. I'm sure someone will jump. Might even be me if I experience a momentary lack of self-control (something to which I am prone), despite the fact I already have a 80GB Zune2.

^^ Dead things.. No hard feelings, but all I'll say is the Zune 80GB it is the maybe one of the worst mp3 players I have ever purchased, the battery life completely sucks, and the software had some kind of DRM issue in the middle, not sure if it was fixed, I wish I would have just bought a Zune M or even an iPod.

Lack of momentary self control? OH BOY! How about my Zen Vision: M as well? :haha:
The only problem however is that it freezes once every few weeks, since I skip songs a LOT. It could be that I dropped it from chest level down on the concrete several times.

Surprisingly, there are no dents :shok: I guess the back is made of solid steel.

One thing that got me sold was the extremely low noise ratio at high volumes, which was what I needed, since I sometimes use it in a theater with uber amps. Overall, it's a great player, and I'm not letting mine go until it dies.

Also surprisingly the battery life is still strong..even though I use and charge it every day. :ph34r:

P.S Thanks Dead Things!

+ It plays most of my yarr'ed videos (except mkv) right off the bat :thumb:

Weird - I've experienced none of that. I'm very pleased with my Zune, having upgraded from a 40GB Olympus m:robe. The Zune has very good sound quality, and excellent battery life - especially considering that I can charge it from any USB port. And believe me, I'm always within arm's reach of a USB port. As for the DRM issue, I will say the Zune's software is a bit clunky and buggy - but I have had no problems whatsoever related to DRM.

edit - @ Panzer ~ since I am unfamiliar with the Creative Zen... what software does one need to sync files?

To sync files:
1. You can use WMP 11
2. You can use the Creative software called "ZEN Vision M Series Media Explorer", it's very easy to use.

I upgraded from an Olympus M:robe too, it was the 5gb version though :haha:

That's what I like to hear!

The 5GB m:robe was a pretty good little mp3 player, IMO. The sounds quality was awesome, but that's pretty easy to accomplish when your volume is that low. The 40GB version was about 5-10db quieter than the 5GB version, I kid you not (the 5GB version had a firmware upgrade to increase the volume that was never ported over to its bigger brother). So even though the sound was clear, it was just too quiet and even good in-ear buds couldn't keep the outside sound outside.

So Panzer - I'll ask my wife (she's been looking for an mp3 player) and if she says go, I'll send you a PM if it's still available.
