AMD Unifies Branding, Kills off ATI

A little pie in the sky, of course. Ironically, it's on an Intel chipset.

This is a good thing.
The AMD brand IS better known world wide than ATI, that's a fact you cannot dispute.
The other thing is: People forget that corporations BY LAW are REQUIRED to put profit before absolutely everything else. This would have been in the works since they aquired ATI; they were smart to run out ATI's name use so that the two companies would be associated then do something like this.
I think it's a good thing.

Haha yep...the Intel + ATI Fanboiz are having seizures right now.
Sad day, as the ATI brand still 'felt' Canadian to me. Despite my folding addiction, I would say I have owned more ATI cards over my life than nVidia.
In the end, everyone should have seen this coming at some point.
