I just assembled my PC. Im using an ASUS P8Z68-v board.
I have a Corsair Carbide 400R case that has 2 front USB 3 ports

I connected my keyboard and mouse to these front USB 3 ports, while I had my USB flash drive in the back USB 2.
I went to BIOS and had both the mouse and keyboard available, booted from the USB drive and installed windows.
But now for some reason when I connect either the mouse or the keybaord to the front USB 3, they aren't responding.
I tried the back panel USB 3 and noticed that it is not working.

Do you have any ideas on what could be wrong?

THanks

You'll need to install the USB3 controller drivers, which are not included with windows 7 unless slipstreamed.

P8Z68-v is a PRO, LE or pro gen3

the 20pin usb3 connector not matching pinout of case connection or using the 1394 as usb

Thank you very much!
problem was solved by installing the drivers.

The only thing that confused me was the fact that it was running ok in BIOS
