Nice review. I wish power consumption was a but lower with this mature chip, but I guess its to be expected with the increased clock speed approach to getting performance. That is a nit picky point though in an amazing bang for buck card. I wonder if we will see any better 660Ti/670 sales now? I am also left wondering about the 660 (non-Ti that will remain for the time being) FPS/$ vs the 760.

Yes. I have dual cards ready for the GTX 780, GTX 770 and GTX 760. However, I am waiting for a new FCAT revision which address some issues I found when trying to run a new, unique set of tests.

Okay, Kick-Ass. I look forward to it.

Specifically, I'd like to see how SLI 760's do at 1440P...

Hence why I skipped the 6XX generation, i'm happy I did. There was not enough difference between my 560ti and a 660ti.

I'm glad I waited for this card instead of buying 660's. I will still consider 660 sli if they drop in price but at this price point, beating the 660ti the 760 is win! I'm very glad to see non reference design cards fall close to $275 as opposed to the rumored $299.

As for the "big jumps" in performance.. I think you have to balance it with the increadible reductions in power and heat your getting over the older gens.
Though I have to admit I'd probably still be rocking my 560ti if I was still on 1080.
That said it is a huge jump in performance from a 470 to a 780 (big jump in price too granted but in a second fastest single gpu terms)

For $250, this is a huge jump in performance for me upgrading from a GTX 460 768MB. Only problem is, I got only $210 in Newegg gift cards to spend, and there is a huge debate going on over at AnandTech where the 7950 is on par with the GTX 760 at stock, and exceeds an overclocked GTX 760 when the 7950 is overclocked. Hopefully, sales start soon on the GTX 760 to make the decision easier.

You mean 7950? Well, 7950 is better to OC because it isn't as locked down as an Nvidia card. Take Linus' review for example (here). The 7950 can almost beat an OC'd 7970 (yes, that's right, 7950 max OC ~= 7970 max OC) while the 760 just doesn't quite have the gusto to make big improvements over its stock performance.

A standard HD 7970 is NOT on par with the GTX 760. That's just preposterous. The GTX 760's closest competition is the HD 7950 Boost, a card that's a good 15 - 20% behind a non-GHz Edition HD 7970.
