GpuFanHelper.exe has stopped working in Reliability Monitor

Every time I boot my PC and view the Reliability Monitor I see that GpuFanHelper has stopped working. I know this is part of the Asus AI Suite 3 but what is causing this?

Here is what I always see.

Do you need GPUfanhelper? If I remember correctly, it controls case fans plugged into the gpu and can be disabled from Computer Management\Task Scheduler\ Task Scheduler Library\Asus.

Once your fan profiles/curves are worked out (and fan control is shifted to BIOS), there is really no point to keeping AI Suite 3 installed.

try Asus Fan Xpert to control

using the correct header for fan controller

also what OS 32 or 64 bit mite be the issue for written for x86

I'll try to disable it and see what happens. I don't have any case fans connected directly to the GPU headers so it serves me no purpose.

Fan on the motherboard you can set up in BIOS.


GPU fan try MSI Afterburner.
