Gaming monitor advise

My son is looking for a gaming monitor. He likes to play Overwatch, Rainbow Six Seige and Cities:Skylines. He was looking at a 32" curve but the choices are overwhelming for someone that has been out of the loop for many years. His GPU is a GTX1060 6gb and he has a budget of about $550.00.
Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

If he is keeping the 1060, you don't want to go over 1440p I would think for resolution. Those games aren't terribly demanding, but you want to stay away from anything that requires you to run at 4K native. 32" is getting into a good size for 4K but the 1060 won't be up to the challenge I don't think.

Not 32", but when building new PCs for my nieces last Christmas I bought these Asus monitors and they have worked out well.

There are certainly some 32" models out there that are feature rich in his price range. Someone I'm sure will recommend one from their personal experience.

I read the description and it says “Non Gaming”
I also noticed that this monitor was on sale last year for $279.00 :(

Wow! Looks like a great deal but the refresh rate is kind of low.
I was looking at the Dell S3220DGF. It’s on sale for $549.00 - 10% coupon.
What are your thoughts?

The Dell is a VA vs IPs of the LG. I have an LG 32" which had the same panel as the Dell. And I don't like it much. VA ghosts rather bad, and makes high refresh rate rather meaningless. Also a 1060 will have trouble driving 2650x1440 @ 120Hz+ in most games. I have a 1080 and play at the same resolution. I play at low detail in most things to keep the frame rate up above 120.
