Regarding low power consumption with the Phenom II: I believe they will do the same as they have done with the current Phenom chips, releasing slower models which consumes more than half of the most powerful Phenom chips. WTB: A Soundcard
I assume you are running a Windows system over there, but if you do intend to have working sound with Linux, then I can inform that the X-Fi cards don't work with Linux. Just thought you should know. I myself have an Audidy2 ZS sound card and I won't upgrade to X-Fi myself. It works excellent...- khelben1979
