    RECOMMENDATION: Audio system

Klipsch Pro Media 2.1s??? You still haven't said a budget... what about passive speakers? There aren't a lot of options for "PC" audio these days.

Star Trek Discovery s03e01... fingers crossed, but this season might not suck.

Squadron's Single Player Story Line Released

"No plans" for Star Wars: Squadrons DLC or extra modes, EA says. How/why did EA get the Star Wars licence?

Squadron's Single Player Story Line Released

Published reviews from gaming websites seem a lot more positive than Steam user reviews, which are only sixty-eight percent positive. Lots of complaints that the single player "story" is just another long form tutorial (as was the case in SW: BattleFront II), shallow power management system ...

Discounting manual grinders, which I know nothing about, $200 is no man's land... Too expensive for "consumer" grinders*, and not a large enough budget for prosumer/enthusiast grinders. * As I recall, the Encore is essentially an overpriced consumer grinder.

Squadron's Single Player Story Line Released

Really? That was the same "plot" from SW: Battlefront 2... rest of the review at https://arstechnica.com/gaming/2020/10/you-should-wait-for-a-patch-before-buying-eas-star-wars-squadrons-on-pc/ doesn't sound promising.

    Rants etc.....

Yeah that site is pretty dubious. The Rancilio Rocky, which I own and use for drip/pour-over/French press, has not been recommended as an espresso grinder for maybe 10+ years. Totally, did not see that coming. Every grinder is different; there can even be differences amongst two...

Unless you want to make jerky, I am wondering if deer/moose might be too lean to smoke.

The best reviews come from places like www.home-barista.com, search the forums for individual models. Curated review articles are, I suspect, mostly marketing.

What sites you're reading? If we're talking about ones, nobody would even consider crap like cuisinart. On some of the sites low end grinders start @ 300 US. My two grinders, for instance, cost over 1k US. To coffee enthusiasts, consistency is the holly grail (especially when it comes to espresso).

Do you have a source for the right cuts of meat? I use to use mine a few times a month (year round), but, owing to the border closure, it's not getting much use at the moment. Nobody here even knows what a tri-tip is, etc, etc. That is 100% Trumpian bullshit!!! Yoder smokers are the gold...

Facebook is also in the midst of a dispute with authorities in Australia over.... something, or other.
