Upgrade Itch, Should I Scratch It?

Wouldn't recommend upgrading (changing whole platform) as well. Maybe buying a used 1080 Ti when a card similar from AMD comes out since buying new expensive GPUs are not a good investment to start with. Just got into cycling and and wish I should've kept my original build (from 4670K and 780...

Corsair SF600 for Kaby lake + gtx 1080?

You'll be fine. I have a 550 watter unit in my Ryzen 1600 and Fury X. It's more than enough that I never get past 400W on just gaming.

    AMD Ryzen 5 Issue

I hear your pain. The first thing you should do is check the motherboard CPU and memory compatibility first before buying. I confirmed that Asus and MSI B350 are compatible with Ryzen 5 CPUs with their initial BIOS release. Only Gigabyte doesn't. When I bought my MSI B350 Tomahawk, it had a...

The NVIDIA GTX 1080 Ti Performance Review Comment Thread

Since NVIDIA didn't announce two MSRPs, then expect custom cards to be at least $1100-1200

The AMD Ryzen 7 1800X Performance Review Comment Thread

So happy that once again, AMD can be mentioned in between enthusiast cpus for productivity. As for gaming, looking forward to see Ryzen 5 and 3, they could be overclocked higher since of lower core count.
