1 questions using Windows XP/2003/Vista GPU System tray client with special viewer for NVIDIA GPU's

When ever I enable the display during a WU it crashes my computer anyone else experience this? I am currently using the 181.20 WHQL drivers after the computer restarts it states that error was caused by the device driver and that I should update them.

The display is known to be buggy and its use is not advised, even the special Nvidia version causes crashes. Its not just you...:biggrin:

Update on the min. core and mem speeds, max. shaders (or for the time being 1728MHz). Are you ready?

WU 5772 (353 pts): 5170 ppd... perfectly stable. Core is at 77C.

I'd say it works.

Dropping the core and mem seems to be really helping, it will be interesting to see how it does with a 511 pointer. Gotta love those 353's, wish we could get more like that...

Yeah, I am running my GTX 285 at 600 core with 1800Mhz shaders and getting around 9000 PPD. Power usage is actually really good at around 280W.

9000 PPD wow, thats GX2 territory, I want one [or two] of those!. Is that 280W for the system?...

Got my first gx2 into a system last night, but couldnt get the drivers installed and the puter running right before I had to leave town for work this morning.... Oh well, my laptop is up and running again in the hotel room, 1300ppd whoopeee. On the bright side looks like I finally liberated all my team 54186 production for the correct team. Stumbled onto someone on the [H] selling 5x 9800gx2's, but I wasnt fast enough. I cant believe they're going for $220us+ still on ebay, must all be folders grabbing them up.

Thats some nice PPD your producing, and you've got a GX2 still to go in :shok:. I'm going to have to get busy sooner than I thought...:blarg:

Looks like I may be out of commission for a few weeks. I may have to RMA my sole folding card due to excessive squealing. I wrote an update to my thread in the Video cards section. take a look at the link I left there it's a great read about video card squealing. I'm pretty bummed out but hopefully changing one or both of my power cables may help. :sad:
