I'd add Core temp to that list.

Although I'm getting some readings from it that I'm not sure if I believe.

If I have ATi Tool open, and stressing my video card, my CPU temp goes down by 6C, then as soon as I stop the 3D window, it shoots up again, then if I start the 3D window it goes back down. There's no reason that firing up my video card should DECREASE my CPU temperature under load. Especially because I'm running water cooling with them in the same loop.

Thanks! Added to the list.

This is the first live linux distro I've found that makes it easy to burn files off of a NTFS formatted drive to a cd.....

http://www.mcnlive.org/

I think the trick is that it can be installed directly to a ram disk which leaves the cd unmounted and burning to cd painless.

Comes in handy if you pooch your windoze install before backing up important info.

Nice find! I've tried a few other Distros that were supposed to do the job but never did. I'll give this one a try.

Yeah, just select the special boot functions on startup and it will prompt you through how to install it to a ramdisk. The burning part is just as easy as running nero.

This distro will also install itself to a bootable usb key. :)

Did you have a chance to check it out?

I'm planning on playing with different distros over the christmas holidays so I'll probably be posting questions in the linux thread.
