Smartphone forum?

Smartphones are a big fascinating pile of discussion as there is so much stuff (competition, devices, evolution) out there (thats the best my sleep deprived mind can come up with right now, sorry) so I'm wondering if you've considered a designated forum devoted to them in general. I do see you have an iphone one but there are so many more (and considerably better) devices and mobile OS out there now.

There's almost no cellphone-related discussion on this forum, so I don't think there would be much point in a special section for smartphones since it would end up empty.

maybe there is no discussion as there is nowhere to discuss it. It is one area that I am interested in but do not talk about here.

You can always post a phone-related thread in the off-topic or mobile computing subforums. I'm just giving my opinion, but I don't think there's enough smartphone-related activity to justify a new section.

While I am a smartphone fanatic, I don't think we need a specific sub-forum for it, Mobile Computing is good enough. I will see if 'smartphone' can get added to its description.
