Dang I would've done the same thing to my brother's face if I had a brother who did that.
why would people tell them to RMA it? if it didn't come that way, you are basically pulling a scam.. fraud.. cheat.. it will drive up the cost and make it harder for real damage to be RMA in the future!

Also, a lot of these major companies will RMA warranty these things just to keep a good name and a satisfied repeat consumer. I know that if a company were to RMA something that I broke, they would create a customer out of me for life.
Stores do it as well on manufacturers. Oops the employee dropped and stepped on it. It is now a Manufacturer defect
I wouldn't bother with an RMA attempt for the main reason of you spend the money sending it back and they will tell you that the RMA wouldn't be allowed so it is both a waste of time for both you and the company and also the added stress in just hoping it goes through. just buy a new board and hope that you can get your money out of who ever did that.
