THanks for the suggestion, but the drivers didn't work. I tried all of the USB Windows drivers on that page. The package (long lost) was very similar to the one in your reply. There is no writing on the adapter (FCC or otherwise). Maybe I should open it up?
Oh - I should mention that the driver you recommended did recognize that something was plugged in, but the utility wouldn't recognize any SSIDs. I tried it with Windows handling the connections, and again, no SSIDs. (there are about 40 in my building.)
Not sure where to go from here. I have a working usb n adapter that uses the realtek drivers, but they wouldn't recognize this one.
