weird video issue, Sapphire r290 tri-x

Monitor: Asus VG248QE

Display port and cable did not exhibit same issues on previous GTX 670 card.

Also, using DVI or HDMI does not exhibit this issue:

I do have the receipt, just wondering if Sapphire would grant an RMA over this.

Seeing as how DP is such a big deal for Freesync, this is annoying for sure.

Is this the DP cable that came with the monitor? I saw ppl over on OCN have the same issues that went away with a higher quality Bizlink displayport cable when running 4K 60Hz.

I bought a cable from a friend at Newegg.ca

Which was working just fine at 1080p/144hz/fps
