Bought a Refurb'd Vizio M658-G1 for $800. I expect (hope) it will be a massive upgrade from the LG 42LK450 I bought here 7 1/2 years ago.

My old man turns 70 this December, and I just helped him pick up a new laptop a couple weeks ago. Asus Strix - Ryzen 4500h w/2060. He still plays games, and its probably way overkill of a laptop, but it sure runs Elder Scrolls Online well!

So I picked him up a Lenovo L28u-30 for fathers day to go with it.

Screamer of a price for a 28" 4k IPS! $365 shipped to his door, and I get 8% Rakuten back. Would of been $26 cheaper without that darn Ontario tax!

Cheaparse arcade controller set. Planning on printing up a controller case for PC pinball use.

edit: Could have gotten essentially the same set for $20 less through aliexpress but I'm still having delivery issues with them so I'm going to hold off placing any AE orders over $10 until the dust settles.

Building a family friend a gaming PC for their son. He's 10. I need to get a case and motherboard still...thinking the CM 300L for case. Not sure on motherboard yet. The b550m available options suck/are to expensive and 450m options are in short supply...E323B8FF-0643-4240-BE2C-56ECA514C220.jpeg

Another 8000btu window unit. Master bedroom one was about 7 years old and started making a ticking noise from the fan.
I have 2 other of these Cool king / Artic kings from home hardware decent units for fairly cheep. 1 is in a spare bedroom the other cools my growroom and gets a workout.

The first gen outlander's live in NA is weird. They didn't get the diesels here and didn't get the evolution motor/transmission option here.
2003 had a non-mivec engine, 2004 got a mivec engine shoved into it then a slight facelift and changed wheel package in 2005 and 2007 saw the second generation model year already. So rare and unpopular, but the 2.4L mivec AWD is actually kinda fun same engine as the ralliart form those years.

So when I was at pick-n-pull looking for parts for someone I know whos parked car got into a sandwich (rear ended and pushed into another car) I came across a 2005/06 model with full leather interior, upgraded healights and some other things like fake carbon fiber instead of the weird grey fabric.

So for around $300 factory heated leather seats for front and back, leather version of the door panels, fog light to replace my broken lens, upgraded headlights with projector + reflector instead of just 1 big reflector, heated seat controls, but only 1 of the different style of taillights.

Going to be some work but this winter I'm looking forward to the heated seats. Cannot get heating elements installed into existing seats for that price let alone the other bits and peices.
