Just installed the new client. Everything set to default and added the GPU slot with defaults.
Been a good half hour and the GPU slot still says 0% and ETA unknown. log tab says:
WU01:FS00:0x16:Completed 3 out of 50000000 steps (0%)
And has been like that for a good half hour.
GPU-z...
It's been a while since this came to light. I'd personally like to see a comparison again based on the current version. Right now I am folding with a radeon 6950 1GB 840/1300 and getting 8333.46 PPD on project 11294. If this is any indication, then it means performance has made some pretty...
Yes, the article is a bit presumptuous in title and a bit biased, stating an opinion based on very early benchmarks, while at the same time, not even noting that oak trail comes out ahead in one of the two benchmarks.
It seems like the author is trying to tell us that oak trail is and will be...
Some people have different needs. Integrated 6-series chips would allow for UVD3 without the need for a dedicated card. There are more modern features also.
I found this thread while googling for something else. I didn't read all the replies but I had the same issue and here was my solution:
The driver unloads for RDP. You're not running the radeon driver so starting folding will fail. but folding can continue if it has already started. My...
What is the point of this..a user can easily flash their reference 6950 to a 6970 stock clocks with the unlocked shaders. I don't see why Powercolor should charge extra except for maybe the custom cooler.
All 6900 reference cards have a dual-bios with an external switch. See SKYMTL's review...
Article: The PCS++ HD6950 allows unlocking of shaders allowing extra performance.
The PowerColor PCS++ HD6950 features a dual BIOS setting, allowing a bump in performance with factory overclocking to at 880MHz core speed and 1250MHz memory speed.
BootlegUsher: What would be nice is a card that...
If I had to get something from apple, and cost was not an issue, I would get a macbook. Give me some familiarity with the OSX to better my skills at more than just windows and linux.
You forgot to mention they will only let you download it if you have registered a 6850 or 6870. I also assume, based on that, that it only works with the 6xxx series.
I was all excited until this.
