Upgraded to a 5800x, no clue what all this is worth. 8700k can do 5ghz, maximus x hero comes with the box, the ram is gskill 16gb 3200mhz CL16 RGB. 250gb samsung 960 evo & an nzxt kraken x62 w/ 2 corsair ML140 pro red LED fans- supaflyx3

It all depends on the games. Nvidia optimized games you'll see a large increase. In poorly optimized games (IE all I play) the increase is miniscule, in MSFS it's something like a 15-20% increase.- supaflyx3

Your clients need to support 802.11v/r/k. Every modern client should support it. Here's a good explanation from Apple: https://support.apple.com/en-ca/HT202628 When you're running multiple APs set their transmit power to the absolute usable minimum and make sure they're on seperate channels- supaflyx3
