Well, if it's not doing what it's supposed to maybe it is broke(ish?). Clearly something is not working properly lol. Have you tried "training" your ram? Boot in at 2133. Then 2400. One step at a time all the way up to 3200. Also are you running the latest version of your bios?- Pabz0r545

I don't have one. I'm just going to grab another battery. But I'm thinking something else has to be the issue. Possibly the power supply? The reason I suspect PSU is because I had already had to replace this one 2 years ago. It's a small silverstone modular unit that fits in the bitfenix...- Pabz0r545

I don't know what's going on because now the computer is acting up again. It was working fine for the past couple days. Went for a hike this afternoon and the exact same thing. Is it possible it burned through the battery already? It wasn't even a cheap battery I went with Energizer.- Pabz0r545

Dang sounds like it could be PSU, Mobo or CPU huh? I highly suspect it's the PSU because I had the same model crap out on me about 2 years ago in a similar fashion. But the fact everything is powering up like the led power indicator light on my graphics card pcb and stuff makes me think it...- Pabz0r545

I did clear CMOS but I haven't changed the battery. I'll go buy one tomorrow for sure. Thanks Lysrin I appreciate the input. If it's not the PSU I think it's definitely the motherboard. Going to try changing the battery next.- Pabz0r545
