Well, if it's not doing what it's supposed to maybe it is broke(ish?). Clearly something is not working properly lol. I know this was particularly a problem with x370 boards when ryzen first came out. Only upon later updated bios revisions were people able to get their higher freq memory to...
Have you tried "training" your ram? Boot in at 2133. Then 2400. One step at a time all the way up to 3200.
Also are you running the latest version of your bios?
The airflow was a bit concerning for me as well but with a simple single gpu system and no extreme overclocks it seems to be sufficient. I can feel a good draft when I put my hand in front of the intakes. I originally planned to maybe do some mod to the front panel but I don't think it'll be...
It's never too late........ better hop in the boat now.
I see people refer to bitcoin currently as the same stage as the internet was in the early 90's.
better start soon or you will be saying the same thing again 5 years from now. I am just in the process of setting up a 6 gpu rig right...
Case just arrived. I'm very impressed with the build quality for such a budget case. I was expecting a plastic front panel but it's metal.
soon come pics
Anyone have this case? I just ordered one. I spent the past few days looking at all the cases on the market and it came down to this or the Fractal Meshify. this one is absolutely perfect imo. Some may call it a budget case but it's a dream case to me. No visible optical bays or HDD clutter...
Replaced the battery again and it didn't work. Looks like I'll have to try a new PSU on payday. It's gotta be the problem. and if it is I am never buying another Silverstone product in my life. :censored:
I don't have one. I'm just going to grab another battery.
But I'm thinking something else has to be the issue. Possibly the power supply? The reason I suspect PSU is because I had already had to replace this one 2 years ago. It's a small silverstone modular unit that fits in the bitfenix...
I don't know what's going on because now the computer is acting up again. It was working fine for the past couple days. Went for a hike this afternoon and the exact same thing. Is it possible it burned through the battery already?
It wasn't even a cheap battery I went with Energizer.
Turned out to be the battery afterall. Jeez. :haha:
But now I have a new problem. Every website I go to says it's not secure. And I cannot connect to my VPN anymore!!! :angry2:
Dang sounds like it could be PSU, Mobo or CPU huh?
I highly suspect it's the PSU because I had the same model crap out on me about 2 years ago in a similar fashion. But the fact everything is powering up like the led power indicator light on my graphics card pcb and stuff makes me think it...
I did clear CMOS but I haven't changed the battery. I'll go buy one tomorrow for sure.
Thanks Lysrin I appreciate the input. If it's not the PSU I think it's definitely the motherboard. Going to try changing the battery next.
