That leaves A LOT of options open then. (y) In-store pickup only, unfortunately. I was kind of likin' that case as well, but the odd fan size was a bit of a turn off, although I THINK it may have hole spacing to allow use of other common fan sizes if the original(s) die..... maybe check on that.- Cannon Fodder

Living in other parts of Canada
Yup, the dryness DOES factor in..... some sunny winter days back in Manitoba seemed not as bad as some wet winter days out here. They both cost more than the Montech(add $15 for shipping on both of them), and after a quick glance at the listed features, I didn't see anything there that was "far better quality of life"..... about the only thing that potentially jumped out, was that the looks of them might be more appealing...- Cannon Fodder

To each his own, I suppose. I got it for my bro-in-law because it was decent, at a decent price, and he really doesn't care much about the case, AND it was in an effort to keep the costs at a palatable level, while getting something decent. Yeah, I checked around on their site, while using the VPN, and found that same number. When I check shaw.ca, it comes up with that same package at $180. It pisses me off that they're offering that plan above for $174, whereas that same amount in T.O. gets 2Gbps..... only difference is, the...- Cannon Fodder

Yeah, I'm generally not into "being a bit more pushy", but it seems like I may have to be...... later on I'm going to turn on our VPN, and see what pops up on the Rogers site when it thinks I'm in Ontario, and if I see some serious discrepancies, I'll DEFINITELY be gettin' irritated and/or...- Cannon Fodder

Unfortunately, around here, Rogers kind of "has us by the short & curlies", because although Telus offers service, they don't have their fibre in our area(or rather, their fibre line ends JUST down the street), and we'd have to take a speed hit(IIRC, they max. out at 50Mbps in this...- Cannon Fodder

Yeah, the rep's mention of IPTV was when I asked if it was possible to get a TV package from them WITHOUT using their internet package, i.e. getting our internet from a 3rd party(while still using Rogers' cable), and I was kind of stunned when she mentioned using an IPTV service..... it's...- Cannon Fodder

And if using OTT, given each package's limitations(at least as far as I understand them), you'd have to buy so many of them to put together all the channels you may want...... Well, while doing the usual Google search for this stuff, there seem to be LOTS of IPTV providers, and from what I've found, those "small boxes" are not required, i.e. like VPN software, there's an app for Windows, one for Mac, one for Android, and they can also apparently be installed on...- Cannon Fodder
