The loop is back together being bled (no leaks :thumb:) and odd as it sounds I kind of like how the tiny bit of remaining flux looks in the MultiOption that has two blue LEDs in the top.
I'm debating whether to just leave it or enter the realm of repeated...
OK...
Checked around locally for a shop that could do ultrasonic cleaning, no luck. Found a rad shop that can do boiling acid dips but they wanted $100 per rad, I politely told the guy he was out of his mind.
So, I've done the vinegar full soak for 30 min, drain 1/2 and shake and rinse, used...
I'm in the process of transferring my loop into a 700D and when I drained the current loop there were obvious flux flecks in the water.
Prior to initially installing the Thermochill PA120.3 I followed the cleaning instructions found on this and other forums. Hot water soak / shake it like it...
:canadianwave:
Pucks were actually just added to make the height at the top of the rad the same +/- as what the 700D will be...just did it to get an idea of how big the new case will be

The Rampage has two 8 pin mb connectors (only one required, two if you're planning on OC'n) so that may be a determining factor in your PS quest but if your not planning on OC'n and only plan on running a single GPU you may be better off looking at a lower power (lower cost) PSU
Just my two cents
I'd go with the Vertex 2 personally
Here's a good article comparing the X25-M G2 to four versions of the Vertex 2

Has anyone here been able to get AHCI enabled on their 750i board? and like the title says, is it really required for ssd performance to be in line with specs??
I've searched other forums and it looks like a BIOS flash is needed but to tell you the truth flashing a BIOS scares the :censored...
APC.com has a selector that can help you figure out what UPS would be right for your set-up.
I'm using a APC XS-1300 with a TX-850W and the XS only shows me pulling about 200W idle
This looks like it's going to be a sweet build when it's done.
That divider plate idea for the lower compartment is genius :thumb: and may be borrowed for my bottom mount 120.2 rad in a 700D, still debating flat or on its' side.
I'd go with a 700D and it's better cable management options than the ATCS 840. Even with no front panel air intake the drive orientation in the 700D and the under mounted fan provides amply drive cooling
NCIX has the 700D for $199.99 right now and if you want the 800D side window you can order...
OK so if I'm understanding this right as long as there is the EK-Res in front of one of the pumps (which would be started first when bleeding) the 2nd pump doesn't need any Res feed as the loop becomes the Res for that pump.
