    I picked one up to 310, seems like a screaming deal. Under 10k TB of writes and less than 1.5 months of power on hours. I see ebay range from 600-1.2k I would say these would easily sell for 500 or so? Speeds on these things actually max about PCIe 3.0 4x compared to tlc/qlc

    Well that's gonna simplify a lot of things I guess for me lol, thanks I never noticed that. Ill probably just keep the x99 plaform and try to source a 6/8 core chip since it has only a 4 core at the moment and run SLI off it and move the ryzen to my room as a work tower with a single card.

    hmm i never noticed the extra shaders for the 290 when flashed, i did mine a while back but thought it was just a minor clock bump, also to answer "why" the secondary bios is write protected, you cannot alter the chip without directly writing to it.
