Interesting. Maybe crack the phone open, make it run without a battery entirely, and use thermal glue to permanently affix some active cooling to keep the phone cpu from ever throttling? Sounds like a fun project!
Well I was into a rabbit hole of reviews and ideas and comment sections... frankly was a bit overwhelmed. Then I saw @On2wheels ' reply and thought: "OH ya, ive already got a ton of corsair stuff on this PC. I wonder if there's an easier solution within the same ecosystem?" Aka, Im already...
You wont be disappointed. Theres a couple of clunky early episodes here and there, but the acting is first class, and the story even better. J Micheal Straczynski wrote most of the series, the overall arcs and most of the episodes himself. Its excellent.
This would be a massive mistake. If I had the money, Id have a Lenovo Legion Go (non-S) because it cause use an eGPU and its controllers pop off like joycons (good for pain). But AMD killing off the best mobile gaming handheld APU? I really, really hope not.
Sooo im starting to wonder if Kickstarter is literally just a scam. Like, all of it. Ive backed 4 projects over many years... but both of the last two ended up being of the type: "we took your money, claimed there were some delays... and ran away with said money". Thankfully I really didnt lose...
So is it really useless to get a sampler? No one's recommended a quality one to me, but Id very much like to feel the different options before committing $100 plus to a new KB, not liking the switches, then wasting 30-40$ plus each time I risk trying a new switch type...
As a reminder: im after...
Ive done quite a but of installations for conference rooms and musical venues alike, but am obviously too far (Mtl) and very, very medically-retired. Would still be happy to provide info / input if you like though. Lemme know, and good luck in finding a local installer for your needs 👍
@sswilson that's vert generous, but I wont ask that of you.
Ill probably just buy the Keychron V1 then.. but do I go with browns, yellow/bana-nas, or reds?
Also seriously:
Could a mod answer me why my typing the word bana-na is being replaced by banana... seemingly only for me? Is there some...
That's the thing, I just dont know? That's why I thought a sampler thing would be a good idea. I dont want to have to buy and return and buy again, nor do I want to go into a CC and touch a nasty display keyboard that's got covid on it.
Is there a GOOD sampler out there? With good switches all...
Ive tried like NO switches at all, haha.
That's why I was thinking of one of those sample things, a bunch of different switches all together to test the feel, sound, etc.
I like light, linear switches. Low force, short travel. Basically, fast + easy (less pain) + quiet.
I thought I linked a sampler of MX switches? Are those not the standard still? Also, the Amazon page for the V1 says it supports both 3pin and 5pin mx switches? Maybe I linked the wrong one...
Yeah Amazon is most likely, but I dont mind ordering direct if it doesn't cost much more or take weeks to ship. The amzn return policy - which I hopefully wont need to use - is also a boon (see above re: my pain in returning direct to Razer, ugh).
Yeah I've never heard of banana switches before...
B5 has aged far better than most IMO.
Have you seen TNG Season 1 recently? Even upscaled, the first eps look like they were made in the 60s. B5 however upscaled really well*, and there are even edited versions of the entire series in 16:9 out there now. *The CGI isnt great tbh, but since it...
Sorry to revive my own dead thread, but I might be in the market... again. Ugh.
The Huntsman V2 has been serving me well, but a TKL is just too big. Because of my pain issues, my hands slide towards each other at the center of the desk. Aka, my mouse hand has started sliding into the bottom...
As did I!
But also: I had the following generation (?) which I liked more: 2-3 small domed tweeters, a downwards firing midrange and a separate subwoofer. If someone made a 10x large scale version of one of those satellites, the downwards firing would probably be an 18in sub hah
