What you have now for CPUs are more than sufficient. I would suggest holding off on an upgrade there and just doing an upgrade for the GPU. A RX480, GTX 1070 or a GTX980TI (I know where a good deal for that would be haha) would be a great upgrade.
In my experience I have never had a ton of luck buying any PC components on a Black Friday sale and even when did find one there was barely any stock for it. BST I have always found the best way to go
I would highly recommend the 480. Recently purchased one and have been pleasantly surprised with the performance plus the extra GB of VRAM is always nice.
I think that I might just hold on for a bit more and see what the new stuff will actually offer when it is released. I have been holding out this long I may as well wait a bit longer however tempting it might be to pull the trigger on something
It would be wireless. Was looking at both the Asus PCE-68 and the Asus USB-AC68 and just trying to decide between the two. Both are AC1900 however my router is an Asus RT-3100 so maybe I could go with the PCE-88 so they match up.
I have been slowly upgrading my current PC and have come across a deal through a friend for an i7 4790k and was wondering thoughts on upgrading from my current 2500k to that or waiting for the 7700k or AMD Zen like my original plans. My PC is mainly for gaming and just play BF1 and Overwatch...
Purchased a XFX RX480 GTR for my son to use to play BF1 and have been pleasantly surprised with its performance. Especially surprised with the temps while under load considering how AMD cards seem to run quite hot.
Almost bought a 3GB version of the 1060 for my son's PC but then ended up getting a pretty solid deal on and RX480 and am glad I went that way because I have seen some higher memory usage in BF1 and don't want him to have any issues.
