    Suggestions On New Build

rethink the 8800GTS 320MB unless you like low res./ no-AA (which makes no sense buying a $350 video card) in reviews the 320MB card is beaten in almost every game (HL2 excepted) in comparison to the 7900GTX and X1900XTX both with 512MB at any decent res. with 4X AA. It makes no sense to me at...

    Wireless HDMI

For those of you not wanting to crawl through your house to run an HDMI cable to your media center PC; Philips just announced wireless HDMI. 25ft range may not be amazing but it would allow a PC to be in another room. http://www.dailytech.com/article.aspx?newsid=5629

    Installation of Windows XP

odd, according to the release notes for Nvidia's Beta Vista x86 driver here: http://www.nvidia.com/object/winvista_x86_97.46.html Your FX5600 isn't on the supported cards list but the FX5500, among other lower-end cards are  Big green is still having some difficulty with their Vista...

TweakTown Has DFI ICFX3200-T2R/G Motherboard – AMD RD600 Chipset Arrives!

without DFI street, and almost zero North American support, it should be interesting to see how well these new boards (and DFI as a whole) will do. Especially now that more manufacturers are bringing out performance oriented boards.

Kentsfield Sub-Zero OVERCLOCKING and Geforce 8800 GTX Benches!

I'm in agreement with Supergrover on this one. Does my X2 really need to go from 2.2 to 2.6? No. It's more of a personal satisfaction I've found with "getting more than you paid for" in performance that drives many people to overclock rather than a genuine need for that extra speed.

    New Logitech mice?

I've been using this MX 518 for a while now and the left button seems to be losing some of its spring. Don't really want to pick up a G5/7 as I value that extra side button too much! Anyone have information if Logitech is releasing an update/refresh of their gaming line soon? Or should I be...

    Woke up this Morning.......

I still have my pristine P95f+b sitting at home back in Ontario. I'd sell that to you if you're in the area (Georgian Bay) as shipping on the 70 lbs. beast probably wouldn't be too feasible

    Just recieved my Shure E4Gs!

seems like I can only use the foamies, all the other tips fall out of my ears. good isolation though, I'm happily using them everyday and the bus ride is definitely more manageable when I can't hear the odd conversations

    Bill, Zune, and DRM

http://www.dailytech.com/article.aspx?newsid=5377 Bill's words: “People should just buy a CD and rip it. You are legal then.” Dosen't leave much room for the Zune marketplace; seems like he's still more of a visionary than a businessman.

    65nm Brisbane "released"

review by AT: http://www.anandtech.com/cpuchipsets/showdoc.aspx?i=2889 looks like similar performance but lower power consumption. Strange that "performance per watt" is now a standardized benchmark though. This only started when C2D was released I belive.
