If there are no wireless controllers balancing signal strength (and all the other things they do); less AP's are better than more AP's... especially if the clients are roaming. Wireless clients easily get confused if there is too much variety to connect to...
i've had antenna cables go as far as 50~75 feet. Pricy buggers tho. The Antenna depends on your coverage type... how big is your coverage area and what walls or obstacles will the signal need to go through/around?

2) Keyboard lacks a BREAK key. I code sometimes code too... I had to get rid of my think pad Edge for the same reason... no break key drove me nuckin' futs. I will never stray from a thinkpad T series ever again :)
i dunno the scope of what this server will be hosting... but I would never use a cache-less raid controller card in any of my production servers. But that's just me. I think the Adaptec is the only card in thread with cache memory (128MB).
