    I've read somewhere that putting 2 Core's in raid will reduce the stutter significantly. Perhaps the dual JM do just that? The Intel X25-M has some sort of raid technology built within it to get the speeds it does.

    It probably just 0's out the drive, kinda like boot 'n' nuke does. Basically the 80gb Intel drives are more like 100gb drive. The extra 20gb is to move the data around when some of the cells fail. These drives fragment just like regular HDD's, but there is no proper/easy way to defragment...

    I got a 64gb Core drive a while ago. Tested it for a day... No matter what tweaks i did, it would stutter like mad. Returned it right away. Buying a Core ssd is like burning money :) At least it's quiet :D
