I checked their website and the other connector for the motherboard is an adapter for usb 2, covering all the bases i guess. You could double check in case i'm wrong :thumb:
unfortunately its a cable that gets its usb 3 from the i/o panel. However it does make sense to implement it this way for those people who have usb 3 but not on a motherboard pin connector. I would like though if they made two versions of this upgrade, the second being the one that connects...
Next thing you know they might pump out laptops..... hey i actually like that idea! A corsair laptop would be pretty nifty :biggrin:. I like the speakers, till i see that price tag and think i could get a nice bose system for that price.
Honestly i think its unnecessary flare on gigabyte's part, not like they needed to jump on the bandwagon with the other manufacturers. O well if it makes a kick ass board i'm not complaining.
I think its a good choice on their part, would much rather have software that's almost bug free later than a handicapped one now. Like when they released Tabula Rasa, pretty sure people could have waited a month or two more with the beta...
