    Thanks lowfat I think that the smoked acrylic would look better if the copper was nickel plated. The impingement slit already runs against the direction of the fins, It wouldnt work any other way would it ? Maybe I didnt get what you were saying :biggrin:

The jig is made of 1/2" mdf and so is the circular offset guide (right bottom corner) that gets attached to the router base Biff you are right about copper being 'sticky' while machined. To prevent that I used a compound that makes things run...

    Finaly some rusults OK so here it is ....after a extremely long leak test of 0 hours and 0 minutes here are some results after playing crysis 15 minutes...... these temps just seem too good to be true :clap::clap::punk::punk: I am glad that I didnt change anything from the original design...

    Thanks Apollo I was planning on putting it on my 260 gtx but am still not sure if it will work...All machining was done with my little bosh trim router and jigs...If you need a hand in your projects Im in Edmonton so come over :)

    Thanks Sheep ..yea its dental floss holding the heat sink up. There was some obvious bending of the pcb before I came up with this clever idea. I still floss btw :)

    my water cooled pc Hi to all Congrats to me for my first post here and my first attempt at water cooling. Just finished putting parts together this week ....didnt do a leak test prior to startup but things are looking dry for 3 full days now
