i fixed the problem
i was conncting the fans via molex so i just ripped them out and stuck the 3 pin into the fan controller and works a charm

okay, well I fixed the problm, this forrum is not at all helpful so no, I guess this topis isn't dead.
If u want to be ignorant and agree with that muppet Jdrom u do that,
and u know what you can do with your coolermaster fans.....

A sombre era engulfs me as I type this message.
I bought the "Best Fan controller in the world" the "Akasa Fan Controller Pro" thinking it would alter fan speed.
All it has done is altar my sanity.
(ok, well nit that bad but still pretty bad :angry2:)...

Yes i have set the switch to full speed o nseveral ocassions but to no avail
I have now cut off the switch, but now its on @ 900 rpm and still cant change speed with the akasa pro fan controller.
How come antec fans dont work with my akasa...

How would I go about connecting Antec Tricool fans to an Akasa Pro Fan controller?
I've heard it through the grapevine that one needs to use a 3 pin to molex but I'm still not sure.
Can anyone explain in a little detail or perhaps show a video?

Anyway my Antec Tricool fans don't change speed when I connect them to my Akasa pro Fan controller.
I believe this is because the switch on the fan changes the voltage, so it ignores what ever signal the fan controller...
