One thing I find interesting about the riser is you can change the orientation of the GPU to have it either face up or down depending on what configuration works best. It is a really cool case. I bought one a few months back that I've been meaning to build a system into but haven't got around to yet. There are a few bits I wish were maybe better quality on it, some of the plastic bits feel a bit cheap. Cool build though- stlouis1

yeah I looked at Ebay too and there's quite a range in pricing. Like JD pointed up, some are pretty up there, with drives, which I don't have to offer, and supaflyx3's statement from earlier saying 500-600 is actually inline with what I kind of had in mind. Google sheets woes
I'll take your beer but I can't say I have much help to offer. I use google sheers for shopping lists lol. Last time I tried to use it for something big, I murdered it with 40 million rows of data. HP DL380 Gen8 Server?
They're 2.5" drives. there's 8 bays on the front. Only one tray. I'm assuming those are SSF I should probably note, I don't think the ram is all genuine HP. I'd have to pop the cover and check what's what for all the ram sticks in it. I still haven't taken the time to reset ILO to defaults yet...- stlouis1

are there any quiet high cfm / pressure low profile 120mm or 140mm fans?
Noctua's are going to be your best bet for slim decent performing fans. The unfortunate thing is they're ugly as sin, but they recently made what's known to me as a linus tech tips editing that's black, but availability seemed limited in Canada. Well, reason I was asking, is I'm having some custom PCB's printed to make PWM fan hubs. I was looking around at fan hubs and I wasn't liking the options. so if you're running 2x360mm rads, just slap one of these on each rad then and you've got enough ports for 6 fans each, and a couple spare ports and each rad can go to it's own mobo header...- stlouis1
