With your budget, I'd say no, just buy it... you might want to get some kind of 2nd warranty/guarantee from where you buy it as Gigabyte doesn't have good customer support imo. Check youtube/google for a good VESA mount, some pretty solid top results in the search.- draemn

So far so good after disabling the sleep mode on my monitor, but since the problem doesn't happen every time I walk away from my computer I can't confirm yet that I'm in the clear.- draemn

Hmmm maybe it is a DP thing. I'm using 1xDP and 1x HDMI and the DP has a built in energy saving mode where the monitor puts itself to sleep. I'll turn off the power saving mode and see if that changes anything.- draemn

Just set up your OBS, and hit stream. Nobody will watch you. At the beginning chances are 0 that someone will randomly watch your channel. You can also practice by talking out loud to yourself when you're playing but not streaming. -
