    Hi, if you boot a linux live distro to test the laptop, can you configure anything related to the nvidia gpu? If you are sure it's the bios update, can you rollback to the previous one? Some laptops permits it.

    We finished the 5 seasons of "Orphan Black". A very good canadian scfi show. Tatiana Maslany plays 5 characters, as it is a clone story. We had a lot of fun watching it, never a boring episode, it moves a lot. Now starting the spinoff, Ophan Black Echoes.

    As suggested, my 2 cents on the RAM or the PSU. You may have a faulty chip on the second ram stick, and it only get written after 2 days, resulting in a crash (got that situation on a laptop and a desktop in the last 20 years). Memtest will flag it. Could be also a dual channel problem...

    I do use a smart outdoor plug to turn the block heater on 1h30 before starting the cars, it get the job done.

    I never used a trickle charger on our cars, and we got -20c to -30c a lot in winters. I do however, plug the block heaters when it's near -20. Cars start like it's summer. On our previous cars, I changed their battery once in their 10 years life (after 5 or 6 years maybe).

    Do you only do short rides in town? In winter, you need to do some long ones so that the battery get some charge. I alternate with mine and the wife's (30 min from job), it helps to keep them in good shape.

    Noctua's are my choice too. You need PWM like others said. A fan controller is a must if you are not satisfied with your motherboard fan curve software.

    I don't, but from the readme of the addon it just add your jellyfin media into kodi's database, so it should be the same.

    Do you have any other RAM? I suspect it does not like the ECC one you have. Try some regular non-ecc one, ddr4 3200 or lower, something generic, nothing fancy, the kind that you would never look at and will install in an office system for mom and dad.

    As this CPU is newish, a newer kernel might be needed for the drivers. Try the nightly 13.0 generic x86_64 libreelec for a spin. I had a good read about CachyOS this week too :cool: My next one to try
