    This is false for the Kingston drive in question, disabling write cache does indeed drop performance to the numbers he posted, sub 25 MB/s, i've seen it myself with my identical SSD. Just ran the tests Cache on vs Cache off On Off

    He disabled write cache, seems to be the first thing people do but it kills performance on this particular SSD because it does have cache.
