Want to Buy 1156 Motherboard
I'm looking for a decent 1156 mobo that will overclock (I have an i3 540) and has 4 memory slots. My current motherboard is an MSI P55-GD85, but it doesn't seem to work well with the ram that I have (2 pairs of gskill F3-12800CL8D-4GBRM)- Pax

Mobo only works with 2 sticks of ram
Thanks Keto. So far, it seems like that's working. It managed to get through the mem test that was always causing it to fail. I'll let that test run a couple more times and then do full memtests. Thanks for the help. I ended up bumping the vtt up to around 1.10 Edit: Turns out it didn't work...- Pax

Mobo only works with 2 sticks of ram
I've got an MSI P55-GD85 mobo and 4x2GB GSKILL Ripjaws (DDR3-1600, CL8-8-8-24, 1.6v). I was previously just using 2 2gb sticks of some other gskill ram, and the 4 sticks mentioned above were in my wife's computer. Case Power Button Broken

Thinking of selling my WC stuff
If I ran it 24/7 for 3 years, it would only use up 1/2 of the 50k hours ;) As it is, I turn my computer off every night, so I highly doubt it's anywhere close to the 1/2 way point. Thanks to everyone for the input on the value of the gear. It is much appreciated.- Pax

Yeah, I'm doubtful that I'll ever use it again. I've been toning down my computer usage since we started having kids anyway. I figure someone else can get into custom WC for fairly cheap. I bought the whole kit for $250 (found it on sale) so even if I can get around 100-120 for it + barbs...- Pax

Bad Company 2 Crashes to Desktop in MP NEED HELP!!!
I used to get a ton of crash to desktop, bluescreens and system lockups with BC2 until I added an old soundcard. I had tried every other tweak/settings change I could find on forums and nothing had helped. If you have a friend with one you could borrow it'd be worth checking out. -

Looking to improve my PC audio system
Just keep in mind the 880's are semi-open and the 990's are fully open. Pick up the 770s for a closed set. Pay attention to which ohm rating you get with these. It ranges from 32obm - 600ohm. If you're running it from your comps onboard or a midrange soundcard, I'd get the 80 ohm ones. The ATH... -

HAF 932 BE vs HAF X
I've built 3 computers in HAF 932's and 3 in HAF X's. I prefer the HAF X. It looks much cleaner inside and I found it easier to route/hide cables. Both cases are big, so I wouldn't really buy based on the size of one vs the other. I haven't done any side by side comparisons for airflow or... -

Which headset is the best?
If you get a good set of cans, you should probably think about a headphone amp too. Especially if you pick up 600ohm DT770/880. If you're using your onboard sound, anything over 80ohm will probably give you some trouble without the amp. -

The MMX300's are just DT770's with a mic and double the price. You should be able to get DT770s for $170 online. Add a standalone mic of some kind and you'll come in a fair bit cheaper.
