I'd suggest doing a quick memtest. I'm guessing that the Win 7 install didn't use much of your ram. Once in Windows, it's funny using enough of the memory where it hits the fault/error spot. Hence the bsod.

Which Dell Latitude is this? Does it have a native HDMI out or are you using a converter?
What's the maximum resolution on your LG LCD? Maybe it's defaulting to a resolution that is outside the range of the LG?
Two scenarios that come to mind.
1. Hard drives are dieing. Have you run any testing tools on them to determine if there are any bad sectors, or maybe check the SMART info?
2. The USB ports on the windows laptop is not strong enough. Is it the same result on another windows based machine?
