1080P Gaming

Now that AMD has improved their drivers I am even more confused as to what video card I should get.

Let me list my specs.

CPU: Core i7 2600K
MOBO: ASUS ROG Maximus IV Extreme-Z
RAM: 16GB Corsair Vengeance DDR3-1600
PSU: Corsair AX850
SSD: OCZ Vertex 4 128GB
Monitor: Philips 22" IPS @ 1080P

Games I will be playing, Diablo III, WoW, Skyrim

Budget: $250-$350

IMO, with AMD's price cuts, you can snag a 7950 within your budget. If you stretch your budget a little more, you might be able to fit a 7970 on sale if you look around. Either way you go you'll have plenty of power for 1080p gaming (my GTX670 is in the same ballpark performance-wise and it's handled everything I've thrown at it easily). And both cards are excellent value for the money. Good luck with your decision!

Just moved from a GTX590 to a sapphire 7950 OC, I am not disappointed to say the least with AMD's latest generation of GPU's. 1050 core without a hiccup, and it is quite a bit cooler/quieter then my last GPU.
XFX DD is an awesome cooler go for it.(grabbed this 7950 due to duel bios/duel fanned cooler)

Yep, unless your main focus is on folding it looks like AMD has the upper hand ATM. That said, I'm not sure if folks would suggest looking for one of the new(er) boost models, or if a factory OC model would be the way to go.

I have seen some 7970's in that $350 range as well, I would say go for one of them. the 925mhz cheaper models OC to over 1Ghz no issues. + the game bundle is a no brainer if you like those games.

The 7950 is looking at the way to go. I'm going to building a miTX for folding with a core i3 2125 and a GTX 650 Ti in the prodigy.

Hold on a second, twin 560's currently? I'm not sure what kind of improvement you're looking for, but you should be pretty much maxing out those games already. Why do you feel like you need a new video card?
