Hi all :)

I am from South Africa and want to start my first pc build. I got the case and psu on special so I bought them already. The Idea of this build is for pure gaming only. I like Intel and Nvidia but I dont mind a recommendation. Okay so here are my specs and I would like to know if it will be good for 1080p ultra settings gaming at 60fps

Cpu - i5 10400f
Gpu - Gigabyte gtx 1660 super 6 GB gaming Oc
Cpu cooler - Coolermaster hyper 212 black edition 42
Motherboard - Asus ROG Strix B460-H Gaming Atx
Ram - G.Skill Teident Z RGB 16 gb(2×8gb) ddr4-3000
SSD- Seagate BarraCuda 500 gb 2.5
HDD - Seagate Barracuda 2 TB 7200RPM
Case - Antec DP501 atx mid tower
PSU- Cooler master Gold 750 W fully modular

Would this be a good build for gaming at 1080p?

It will work but most of us here don't recommend Intel. That video pretty much explains why it's a bad CPU.

Yeh... the 10400 is a 65 watt core? So overclocking is out? I'd definitely go with the 3600x over the 10400. Never mind all the security nerfing that's been happening to intel further slowing it down.
