So we had two bad calls against us. We had 4 very tight games we lost, 3 (if you ignore Game 6) of which we could have won. Maybe if this was game 7 and the games we won or lost were larger goal differentials, but we all need to remember 5 out of 6 games were determined by 1 goal or less (I'm excluding the empty net goal of Game 6). Two of them went to overtime.
In the end it could have easily gone 4-1 or 4-2 series wins for the Sens. I can hope they take this as a learning experience and come out strong in the fall, instead of sprinting to the playoffs. Have to remember that had to take a lot out of some of the guys too.
Ultimately the better team won the series, but that's one of those 50.1% vs 49.9% split type deals.
