Can you wait until June to build? With Navi and Ryzen 3 so close to release, I don't think it's wise to build any AMD machines at the moment.

Few mentions : that Corsair H100i is money thrown out the window, just get a CM212. Storage : go full nvme! A 250 GB drive for system and programs is plenty, like the WD Black , and a cheaper larger lazier nvme drive like the 1TB Crucial P1. GPU : not worth to buy new, go for a used gpu! Get a used rx480/580 for under 200!

Why is an AIO 'money thrown out the window?' Used RX 580 for under $200? I haven't seen it.

The cpu will not go over 4 GHz and CM212 is a very capable unit, it was cooling even the FX9000 series. RX580, used, under 200 cad, ebay is full, these are just the canadian listings

Update

Just missing power supply
Have you purchased all/ some/ none of this so far? Not sure if you mean you have everything except the power supply, or you have decided on everything except it.

I would recommend some changes if not purchased.

1. Spend a few bucks more on a Ryzen 5 3600.

2. If you need to account for that cost difference, get a cheaper cooler.

3. 3200mhz ram or even 3600mhz can be purchased for great prices now, so I would swap to it.

4. For storage, the 970 is a great ssd, but you do pay for it. You could consider wd Black sn750 as a similar drive, or a bit cheaper Adata SX8200 (you could potentially move up to a 1tb). Also, if you need a hdd, I would at least make it a 7200rpm.

It would be a solid build as you listed though...these are just my thoughts.
