As well MemX London Ont called me back and said they would ship the Asus Strix 3090.....but not the Evga FTW Ultras....very kind of them....cudos! The Victoria MemX called me today and said they were expecting a batch of Evga 3090 FTW Ultras perhaps next week and are taking "phone in" orders...........good to know.....EK will have the FTW Ultra FCWB available in 4 wks........soon I know!!!!

Dwayne.....where were you at on the Evga queue ? Was it a 3080 or 3090 ?

I am still waiting patiently on EVGA to get something going. Sooner would be nice but I am resigned to wait.

I am queued for 2 of the hybrids and the Ultra now.

Sad to see the slow movement on all product still. But I got in early on the 3080 FTW Ultra Hybrid. I don't recall seeing those in store so I am hoping they use more to move the website queue.

The FTW3 Ultra air cooled version is now on the 19th of Sept, and if I recall on the "unofficial spreadsheet" the orders thinned out a lot until the bump in Oct when EVGA said they would honour people in a queue.

Yeah... no. Pretty common misconception. The card will be obsolete before use kills it or degrades performance.

My 1080ti's had weird burn stains and were artifacting after a few months of mining in 2017, they got ok after, but I stopped torturing them. The 3090 reportedly has poor cooling on some of its 24GB memory units and could reach 110° on vram.

I think the queue was stacked up at over 1000 on the first 2 days. I know that I was around 1500 to 1600 on the unofficial spreadsheet for my date of Oct. 9. So, I would hope that now that they have pasted the first 2 days of the queue that there will be some faster movement toward your date now. I was sitting on the site for the the 3080 FTW Ultra hybrid on the day they opened the queue. I had a notify screen up at 9:04 but it crapped out on me and I didn't get back on until 9:08. That was a piss off, but what can you do when everyone else is crushing the site too. I am 5 min away on a numberless queue, so I could be 100 cards or 1000 cards, who know.

I will bumble along with my 2080, which is a very serviceable card, and wait and see what transpires. It was nice to see that EVGA will honour their original listed price for queue sitters, as long as they get an order in by April. At the rate things are moving, that may not be many people anyway!

I started using 3090 and I think it's not as useless as it sounds, it can add up to 10 more FPS where it matters (the difference between 80 and 90 in maxed out Cyberpunk), and is godly in VR. Having many of my favorite titles run at 140-180 on ultras is just sick.

Sounds awesome......what resolution are you running.....i only use single monitor UHD 3440*1440.....
