3D Printer / CNC discussion thread

This shows a lot of interesting promise. Not quite home shop pricing but there are a couple things that I could print with this specifically in mind with its extra strength.

Printing a bin that has a lot more infill. The high flow nozzle is damn near 100% faster! ETA goes from 4hr 15min to 2hr 22 min. Insane.
What size nozzle? I never bothered swapping out the default .4 size on mine (I did swap in a hardened steel one) for a .6 as I'm happy enough with the speed of my P1S as is.

0.6mm. I swapped out 0.4mm nozzle before even printing with the printer. I've used it once maybe trying to do logos. Which I just bought a 0.2mm for that use case.

I also have a 0.8mm HF, but with the smaller prints it was actually slower than the 0.6mm.

The quality of free 3D printed models never ceases to amaze me. I'm currently printing off a few modular spool racks, and while it could very easily be carried out in a basic square shape with similarly square pillars to support the levels, the design incorporates visually appealing accents on the pillars. I know it's mostly done to reduce required material, but it still looks great and adds something special to the final project.

I hate it when you're doing a large(ish) project and have been at it for a few days and then out of the blue it stops bloody printing properly. Nothing's changed... same filament roll, same parts that printed up perfectly earlier in the day, just something tweaked and it decides to stop printing well....

Going to give it one more shot to get a good initial layer(s) for an overnight print, and if that doesn't take I'll revisit it in the AM and maybe try to do a fresh system calibration.

edit: Don't know what happened to the post I thought I added.... but third time was the charm and it printed fine overnight. (I suspect the nozzle was fouled).
