What I've learned with Gridfinity. The Fusion 360 plugin is amazing. Especially for generic bins like this.
For now on, I'm keeping all drawers the same height. It looks so much better. Even if it uses more plastic. Plus this way every bin is stackable no matter what.
Good thing I'm using the cheap no-name labels, as I'm chewing through it like no tomorrow.
I found a nice simple online generator but if you reduce the wall thickness too much and use ramps and ledges it generated a model with errors in it. I still printed them as I didn't notice till after. What they are holding is just a small collection of electronic components anyways
Had forgotten I still needed to print a shroud for the AVR in the network rack. Last few days I used all the remaining Esun PLA printing Gridfinity, minus about maybe 50g on the spool. As only the first layer is really visible, I did it w/ the Esun, then the remaining layers w/ Bambu matte black. Turned out great.
The matte filament looks amazing. Looks exactly like the CF infused filaments but without having to deal without all the nastiness. 100% will be my go to filament for here on out.
