So basically how this board works for thunderbolt 4 is, There's an DP input port on the board which you connect with a short DP wire supplied with the motherboard. At that point it can be configured to run a 4k display etc off the t-bolt port and limit the wiring to the desktop. There's another t-bolt port just for other devices as well. It's really a nice looking well built board. Hoping it works well as t-bolt is intel and this is and AMD system. The mobo also has dual AIO pump ports to use which is handy.

Also the PSU came with a dongle for filling water loops so you can run the PSU without connecting to the mobo. 1st time I've ever seen one come with a PSU. The case itself is pure magic, The top bracket comes out to be installed to the AIO, and then re-installed. Makes installing an AIO very, very easy. Case comes with a secondary top cover for AIO setups or just the regular hard top if it wasn't needed.

Will have a few more photos later. Waiting on the drives to be shipped so I can complete the build and install the OS.

edit: installed a fan backwards, will need to flip that one. heh. Duh.

For the PSU you just mean the adapter to short the pins on the 24 pin connector? you can do that with a wire or get a cheap one off ebay if its not included. The 24 pin connector is standardized as well. I would think the thunderbolt would be fine as that would be standardized as well.

I did a Design 7 build which turned out quite nice as well. Easy cable management, decent space, easy mounting of drives and re-locating pieces. Might be a tad overpriced for what it is from my perspective as other cases have proven to have better airflow or be on par with the sound supression that the design 7 offers. Suppoesdly removing the top panel for any rads negates most sound benefits of the case.

The case has it's own room / space away from any noise issues. This may be why he wants t-bolt. The only issues I've heard of is waking from sleep state which will never be an issue as this server is 24/7 awake. I've also replaced the AIO fans with typhoons which have been recommended by lowfat recently. And yes to short the pins on the PSU. I've had to buy them in the past, separately, from Dazmode.

Thanks for the pics :) Man... that RAM eh? Whew!

My EVGA PSU had that 24-pin adaptor to run it disconnected. Yes you can do it with a wire, but having that included is a great plus imo. One less thing to figure if you're working on a custom loop.
