Good info , I've actually got a couple of re-paste projects to do (someday... probably ages away tbh) and I've looked into this stuff but wasn't really convinced. Kinda glad I didn't jump down the rabbit hole, and I'm plenty happy with the performance of my typical pastes (noctua or gelid GC extreme 2).

I paid 8 beaver bucks for a Thermalright Heilos pad, its been a few months and so far so good. I have heard PTM degrades after about a half a year, makes me wonder if its real, or if PTM was just over hyped.

Everything I had read was it was no better than a good paste, but it doesn't have to be reapplied as much, why its marketed towards the server crowd, but thanks for the info

Having just bought a Phantom Spirit and contemplating the pad option, are you able/willing to share the one you bought?
