I only use one its Its not big enough to handle a hardware upgrade.

Edit: I have had four or five power drops with the freezing rain today so I am glad I have a UPS.

I put the shock emoji response on there, but on second thought, this doesn't surprise me at all! 😉

oh I hear that my power in Orillia is really dirty I guess cause it normally sits around 118-119 but can drop as low as 108 and as high as 136 which I have been told by power workers here its pretty normal, it has been better since we bought our house but I guess that's because my old apartment was on 3 phase so sometimes half my power would go out and cause very strange power in my place IE half of the apartment has power but some outlets would have half power so things would come on and off, hence why I originally went with UPS on all PC/TV's

Battery world in Edmonton has been a great source for UPS batteries usually have a bunch on hand. I'd imagine the idea however of shipping them out is prohibitive to where you are.

A lot of people who live in more rural areas actually tend to get a household Power Conditioner that takes the power from the mains and then feeds it to the distribution panels.
My cottage had one from Eaton. Made a World of difference in the longevity of electronics not covered by Line-Interactive or Online UPS units.

The control board can fail but most of the time it is a failed battery and just replacing the battery fixes the problem.

I looked into that and at the time the battery cost almost as much as the UPS I actually have been considering getting another one but larger the thing is name brands which are good.
