Well the build has been finalized.
Mobo: ASUS P8P67 Pro ATX P67 LGA1155 DDR3 3PCI-E16 2PCI-E1 2PCI SATA3 USB3.0 Sound GBLAN Motherboard
CPU: Intel Core i5 2500K Quad Core Unlocked Processor LGA1155 3.3GHZ Sandy Bridge 6MB
GPU: EVGA GeForce GTX 580 Fermi 772MHZ 1536MB GDDR5 2XDVI Mini-HDMI PCI-E Video Card
RAM: Corsair CMZ8GX3M2A1600C8 Vengeance 8GB 2X4GB DDR3-1600 CL8-8-8-24 Dual Channel Memory Kit
PSU: Antec Truepower Quattro 1000W Power Supply ATX V2.2 EPS12V 20/24PIN Active PFC 80PLUS 2X8PIN PCI-E
OS: Windows 7 Professional
Case: Corsair Obsidian Series 800D Full Tower Case EATX 5X5.25 4X3.5 Hotswappable 2X3.5INT No PS USB 1394
Getting a number of these things from OTV computers in Saskatoon, as they have it either cheaper, or are giving me a bit of a deal. The obsidian 800D I won't have to pay shipping for, which is nice, considering it weights 45 lbs.
EDIT: Called and had the corsair RAM switch to this:
G.SKILL Ripjaws X F3-12800CL9D-8GBXL 8GB 2X4GB DDR3-1600 CL9-9-9-24 Memory
It appears to actually outperform the Corsair, it can fit a lot of aftermarket coolers a bit better.. And it's $30 less.
