I just watched Colin Furze's new shop and I have major tool/shop envy now.

Makes me want to save up and build a proper shop. I have a small room and workspace atm.

This is nice, but I just know if I had this I would come in and find random tools missing only to find them in the kitchen drawer or some other random place because my wife will never put things back. lol

When I retired (and lost access to being able to borrow tools from the tool crib) I started restocking my tools specifically with "briefcase" style kits. That way there's a spot for every tool and an obvious empty hole if I didn't put it back where it belonged.

I inherited the tools from my father, and I'm slowly adding more! Recently got a compressor and 2 nail gun ( 18 and 16 gauge). I try to go the FB marketplace route to save some money. I got a paslode 18 gauge gun (P18-200) that was used twice for 60$.

I will mosty likely buy a pool and build a deck in the next 1-2 years, so new tools soon!

Finally grabbed a mitre. Was looking at a couple newer 4010 Bosch saws + gravity rise stand but either they took a week to respond (and I was just travelling through) or they couldn't meet when I was travelling through. This is 3915, which I believe is about 10 years old. Will need to find a stand. Hopefully one w/ wheels as this is too heavy to casually move around.

EDIT: Bosch T4B gravity rise is available for $279 @ KMS right now, which we have locally. But not a lot of decent used stands ever show up on FB marketplace. Hmm..

EDIT2: Just noticed the lower blade guard has been removed. :(

I ended up buying the Rigid saw stand when it was on sale. Definitely recommend if you can grab it at a decent price.

I am using this kit at the moment to build a couple of small desktop speaker stands and I recalled this thread so I thought I'd post. I'm very happy to have this dowelling jig kit I picked up some years ago, it works well! Quality item and I built a simple box to store it in.
