And I'm all over the place on how I feel about it...

What should I do? Maybe some sort of midlife crisis purchasing? Or maybe I'll finally work up the courage to start streaming / YT... I just don't know. 🤷‍♂️
just have fun dont sweat to much on things because know matter what you plan it probably will not work out the way you planned, also time isn't real at 20 years old I thought that I would be dead by 32 I woke up, and I was 33, I blinked 40yrsd old then I was 50 now I am over 60 , yes at times I worry but I learned that the energy spent on worry isn't worth it , stay active keep moving and doing things you like to be happy that's all that matters. or you could spend all your time making money get stressed live an unhappy life and then wished you did things differently ;) .
you could do a youtube channel its a huge time consumption not just the content creation and filing editing and then making sure there is nothing like say a song playing in the background then ther is the haters then the time to build up a following that alone could take years if any at all and doing your own stuff and other like-minded people noticed and so start following you because doing content for other people is hard and will burn you out and you can get addicted adn lost in all of that becoming someone that your followers created I have seen many youtubers go through that and pretty much every one of them just quit.

oh after all that negative talk I just posted Happy Birth day :) I would just take the simple road and do the Bob Marley " Dont worry be happy"
Just to save you a confusing search, it's Bobby McFerrin, not Bob Marley I believe. Let me get that for you... But be careful, it will be stuck in your head until you're 50! Oh and yes, Happy Birthday from another 50+ fellow :)

I am 46 and 50 is coming up fast, I wish I had purchased some things sooner than I did, but it is never too late as long as all your life needs are covered, maybe get/do something you always wanted. the one thing I try to remind myself is that none of us is guaranteed tomorrow.
every day is a gift enjoy what time you have. Get that YouTube channel going, failing at something is better than defeating yourself before you even get started, if you don't try you won't know

Happy B-day.

lol I like this version better ;)
Interestingly I had to look it up. But I think that link you posted is still Bobby McFerrin? If you expand the video info, it shows Bobby McFerrin as the artist for the song. I also found this link: https://jamaicans.com/bob-marley-di...tinues to,American jazz artist Bobby McFerrin.

From there:
"Another reason that the urban legend continues to live on is that McFerrin’s “Don’t Worry Be Happy” was written and performed in the same memorable style for which Marley was well-known. The song was actually written, performed and released in Sept. 1988 by McFerrin – a full seven years after Marley’s death."

So Marley never sang that one I'd say. I had to check, you had me second guessing myself! lol

And we now return you to the 40 year old birthday thread... Apologies.

"I'd suggest instead that you partake on a journey of fitness."

So much this... It gets harder and harder after 40 to make up for lost time with your health. If you want to enjoy your formative years to the fullest, then staying healthy, eating right and regular exercise is more critical now than ever.

*EDIT* And happy birthday!
