Hey, a bit of a late catch up on this, but what fluid are you using in this? I think earlier you mentioned "white" but I just wanted to clarify

EK Cryofuel Solid Cloud White concentrate.

Took almost 1L total (so one bottle of concentrate and 750ml distilled water).

Still waiting on some RBG adapter cables and then I'll take some final proper photos. I'm a little worried the RGB strip in the pump is dead, but I'll find out once the adapter comes in.

Cool - for my new build, I am heavily debating adding (some form) of colour to the loop - I think either a blue or red would go very well. I am on the fence though about staining, granted with everything that i have heard as long as you use a good quality dye (and use it properly) it should not be an issue. Guess we will see - will start out with good old distilled with a biocide and then see how the lighting effects work.

The Ekwb cryofuel concentrate had turned clearish and the pigment had settled out and coated some components making the whole thing look less than idea.

Tried to do a flush using an aquarium pump and bucket but it only worked so-so.

Currently running Ek loop cleaner overnight before switching to superflush tomorrow morning. Won't be using an Ek coolant again. Have a couple bottled of corsair clear I'm going to try

In the meantime I polished the replacement you block and mounted it as well as made a new foot for the reservoir to stand on with a trimmed and notched cpvc fitting. Adjusted a couple pipe lengths and will reassemble tomorrow most likely and cleant up a couple cables to get to 'actually complete' status.

That sucks, I wonder if it's just an issue with the white colour as I've run red and aqua/blue without any issues.

Might be, I've seen some comments that the concentrates have the issue where pre-mixes don't. I did rinsed everything with distilled first, but maybe there was something left in the rads or tubing that made it precipate out faster.

It really only stayed solid white for about a month, I'll see how I feel about the clear liquid and if I don't love it I can always try another brand or give the white another try as I've got a couple bottles of concentrate.

Ran the cleaner overnight and then did 2 hours of EK superflush, drained and then ran a second superflush for about 4 hours. EKWB says to run superflush for 24 hours but that seems excessive.

Drained and did a quick flush and rinse with distilled and the aquarium pump. There was definitely some soapiness left from the EKWB cleaning so I'm glad I did one more run with pure distilled. There's probably a bit left in there, but nothing too excessive.

Filled with Corsair XL8 Clear. No issues, leaks or shorts which is good as there was definitely a few spills draining the case. The Corsair XL8 seems to foam as much as the EKWB cryofuel did, but does seem to have the bubbles disperse a little faster which is nice. Once it's run for a day or two and the bubbles clear up I'll post some final photos.

One tip for anyone doing a clear acrylic vertical gpu cooling loop in the future; you'll end up with fluid bleeding between the cold plate and the acrylic. It ends up leaving a crystalline look pressed against and doesn't look great. I'm hoping the clear is better for it.
